Step into the Indian restaurant Shapla, a culinary oasis in the heart of Ferringham. This restaurant serves delectable dishes and immerses you in an enchanting dining experience with its on-point jungle-themed interior! Talented Interior Designer Emma, Creative Director and owner of Emma Wood Interiors is behind the interior design.
How did you decide on which wallpaper to use?
"There were a few options we loved for the mural. However, we chose this particular one because of the feeling it evoked. The client's heritage and style of cooking are from Bangladesh. Through lots of research, we used the icon of the Bengal Tiger and the country's lush jungles and tropical planting. These images were throughout the mural and therefore worked alongside the beautiful food in evoking a sense of the country." - Emma Wood.
"Using the correct wallpaper in a space can transport a client to another world. As designers we often use them to add interest and texture to a room. They can be used effectively to add a patina and personality to a blank space."
